Charlotte Bacon Obituary
It was the last outfit the outgoing redhead would ever pick out. Charlotte's older brother, Guy, was also in the school but was not shot.
Her parents, JoAnn and Joel, had lived in Newtown for four or five years, JoAnn's brother John Hagen, of Nisswa, Minn., told Newsday.
"She was going to go some places in this world," Hagen told the newspaper. "This little girl could light up the room for anyone."

I still think of the families and the precious gifts from God that lost their lives December 14, 2012. We don't know why these evil things happen in our world, especially to our children, but it happens. However, we do know God is with us every step of the way. My most earnest prayer for Charlotte Bacon's family is peace and comfort. God bless you!

Today, in my middle school, we had a moment of silence for the 17 victims of the recent Florida school shooting. A few students passed out the names of gun violence victims to honor and remember. I got your name and was curious about you. I now know that you were an amazing person and I feel honored to have learned about you.
