As I was a member with Mr. Franklin in the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, I remember him well for his never ending strength and stamina, warm nature and smile, that will never be forgotten. We called him "Freddie". Now it is your time Freddie to rest and have everlasting peace.
God Bless

Freddie was a friend who will be forever in my memory for, not only his exceptional talent, but for the great sense of humor and the artistic sense he always displayed. As a human being, he was one of the best, giving freely of his advice when it was requested, and ever helpful to young and aspiring dancers and choreographers. I will miss his engaging laughter and the many ever so interesting conversations we had. God speed, Freddie, you will never be forgotten by your many friends, and the dancers you inspired to do their best.
