I am a charger fan and was very shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Paul Oliver. He typified the lightning bolt on the charger helmet. he truly will be missed. may god watch over and bless your family at the sad loss. rest in peace paul

I did not know Mr. Oliver and there was not a lot said about him in his obituary. However I do know that Jesus died for all mankind. Romans 5:8 tells us that "God recommends his own love to us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us". May Mr. Oliver sleep in peace until Jesus do as He did with Lazarus and told him to "Wake Up".

It seems that struggles out weigh the blessings of life we are so sadden of Paul's sudden loss of life, however he is in God's hands now. What better place to be. Our sorrow to the family, words just can't express the sorrow we have for the Oliver family. Our prayers are in your behalf.

Please know the entire Dawgnation is praying for God's peace that passes understanding, in a time when understanding is so extremely difficult, to cover you all. I lost an immediate family member this way last year...you are so not alone. God knew Paul's heart and holds him in His hand. Even though we die, through Him, Paul lives and you will see him again!

It was a pleasure to cover Paul during his time at UGA. He along with Kelin Johnson, Thomas Flowers, Mikey Henderson, and Robert Edwards are like sons to me. I mourn his tragic passing along with the Oliver, Young, UGA, Harrison High, and San Diego Chargers families. Paul's death is reminder how precious life is why it is so IMPORTANT to tell everyone, WE LOVE THEM every day! You never know if we will every see them again on earth but we do know WE SEE them in heaven.
