Diane & family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how hard it is to stand by & watch a loved one pass on. The thing that kept me going was knowing my hubby was no longer hurting. Jim will be watching over you - I know that happens. If there is anything I can do for you, even just listening, give me a call. My sincere sympathy.

Death was not God's original purpose for us, and it is something for which we can never be completely prepared. As we join you in your grief and offer our heartfelt condolences to the Callahan family, may you be comforted in knowing that the state of Kentucky will always remember Mr. Callahan for working endlessly to improve the lives of its citizens. As you know, God is always ready to provide you with comfort; all he asks is that you draw close to and remain close to him.

Jim was my first Basketball coach at St. Anthony's and coached me at NC. Jim built within us a solid foundation that we still rely on today.
