A very nice lady I worked with in a medical lab in Bixbi knolls, Long Beach. I was only 18 years old fresh out of high school and she made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I will always remember her and her kindness. A special person.

Our deepest sympathy from the Carter family for your recent loss. As you remember your dear mother Betty with fondness as well as the life you shared with her, find the needed comfort in the words at John 3:16. It is our hope that God will soon undue sickness and death and all the major woes that we experience today. Until then, be assured that she will always be alive in your hearts.

I wish to express my condolences to Billie Jean King and family. Words seem insufficient at this difficult time. We all need comfort when a loved one dies. May you find real comfort and relief from our heavenly Father, family and friends; and as a result, begin to recover gradually from the pain. Love from those around you will help you through the days ahead. The precious memories of your loved one will bring you comfort.

Our family lived across the street from the Modfitt family until after I was married. They were a very kind family who seemed unaffected by the limelight they often found themselves in. I have many memories; from my mother watching over their home when they traveled, to the tennis racket Billie Jean gave to me (I still have it.) Rest in peace, Betty and my prayers are with you, Randy and Billie Jean.

I remember Mrs. Moffitt as a young child, she was best freinds with my next door neighbor Mrs. Nix and used to come over to her house almost every Sat. with Billie J. and B.J. always brought her little yellow bike. I learn how to ride a 2-wheeler on that bike. RIP Mrs. Moffitt.

It doesn't matter if they are older; it doesn't matter the cause; losing a parent leaves a huge emptiness in your life. May God comfort your family during this sad time.

Billy Jean, Randy, and family of Betty Moffitt. My condolences are sent to you for your loss. A mother's love and encouragement takes us places in life that might be unlikely without it. May you relish in the good fortune of this bond and look forward to picking it up where you left off as demonstrated at John 11:43-44.

when I was around 13, late 1960's, my family vacationed in London, the same week as Wimbledon, which I knew nothing about. It happened we stayed int he same hotel as Mr and Mrs Moffitt, every day we saw them and talked to them excitedly about London, I remember it seemed we met all the time on the elevator. We were a brood of 4 young (ages 13,11,8,4) American kids, family recently moved to Scotland for 4 years, and talked to them everyday. One day Mrs. Moffitt presented us, the kids, with a tennis ball signed by Billie Jean, what a thoughtful act of kindness, to children they had just met, during a time when I am sure their daughter had other thoughts on her mind. I have always remembered that kind gesture. God Bless.

To the Moffitt family, I am so sorry for your loss. The family unit is the oldest institution in the world, it was founded in the Garden of Eden and sixty-five years of marriage say many things about two people. Please allow the comfort from God's word to comfort you it offers hope for those who fall asleep. The hope of awakening them from from their sleep, only the Creator could provide such a hope and have the ability to actually do it.( Johns 5:28,28 )

God is the arm that will hold you at your weakest...the eyes that will see you at your darkest...and the HEART that will love you at your worst-by Living Out Loud
Celebrating a life well lived but gone much to soon. This is in harmony with Psalms 37:29-"The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will live forever upon it".
