To the Bereaved Family of Matthew Power: We are deeply saddened by your loss. We sincerely appreciate Matthew's sharing his gift as a journalist reporting the various extraordinary feats of outdoor places that many of us will never experience first hand. May the words of Jesus at John 4:13-14 prove to be comforting. He mentions "a fountain of water bubbling up to impart everlasting life." Remembering Matthew with fondness today and in the days to come!

May you take comfort in knowing that this is only temporary. Almighty God will eliminate death forever.
(Hosea 13:4) From the power of the Grave I will redeem them;
From death I will recover them.
Where are your stings, O Death?
Where is your destructiveness, O Grave?

What an incredible journalist Matthew was! He was truly adventurous and got to see so many different and interesting places on this planet that only few people can boast of. Looking forward to getting to know Matthew at his next stop – Paradise, where the perfect and beautiful adventure will never end.
