Such courage should humble each and every one of us.
"The accidents of life separate us from our dearest friends, but let us not despair. God is like a looking glass in which souls see each other. The more we are united to Him by love, the nearer we are to those who belong to Him."
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton

John 11:33 says: "When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping and groaning, he groaned within himself and became troubled." Jesus expressed tears when his friend Lazarus died, he knows how it feels to lose a dead loved one and he understands what you and your family are experiencing. May this bring you and your family comfort in this time of need. cjp (fla.)

This was a tremendously inspiring person who is surely a loss to us all in fact we are enriched and in some degree protected by the many astounding national and earthly accomplishments. May the family have peace we cherish the special memories. (Isaiah 2:4) He will render judgment among the nations And set matters straight respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares And their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, Nor will they learn war anymore. May we all rejoice in this good news of this everlasting peace.

To the Family,
My father, the late journalist Robert MacDonald from Toronto, Canada, spoke highly of Mr. Brady after a visit to Washington on assignment. We of course were shocked to hear about the shooting in 1981. And I am saddened to hear about his death earlier this month. Please accept our condolences and fond memories on behalf of my late father.

My late brother was a Naval Officer assigned at the time to the Defense Dept. when he met Mr. Brady at Bethesda. Mr. Brady was interested in all my brother to tell him about what was going on, my brother told us how informed Mr. Brady was, and what an honor it was to spend the time speaking with him. My brother met many important people as a Blue Angel and as a Naval Officer, but that was one of his special memories.
