Goodbye Arlene...many memories of growing up together in BX etc. your lovely Mother, Molly, many childhood memories, Cherry Lawn School in CT. Your love of many pets etc. House in Norwalk and visited You when you were on Broadway stage. Many tales of memories of years gone bye. Bernice W.

Our family met Mrs. Martel at the Chicago Trek Convention in 2013. Our 11-year old son played the violin for her, and she was so kind and gracious towards him. She gave him a big hug and posed for a beautiful picture with him. She touched our hearts, and we were so disappointed when she emailed to say she would not see us in Chicago this year. We were already looking forward to catching up with her in Chicago in 2015 when we heard the terrible news of her passing. To her family, we are so saddened and sorry for your loss! The world has lost a truly beautiful woman, full of love, tenderness, sensitivity and generosity towards others. We feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet her and to call her our friend. God bless her and all those who were closest to her in this life.
