I am so sorry that Mr. Duncan did not live to be fully re-united with his family in the U.S. and that they and he had to suffer so much. Mr. Duncan deserves to be remembered as a brave man who did a good deed for his neighbor, as a hard-working survivor of so much hardship, as a man with a dream that almost came true, as a beloved family man. Prayers for all who loved him and for those who cared for him during his illness. May your lives continue to shine, lit by his spirited and comforted by the knowledge that he passed knowing your love and care.

I am so sorry that your family reunion has ended under such painful conditions as Mr. Duncan's sickness and death. We are so in need of the elimination of all causes of suffering, and we do have hope. Soon our Heavenly Father will act to provide a better future for people in every land. All nations and borders that separate them will soon be relieved of both the causes and traces of anything that brings about suffering. (Jeremiah 29:11) Our heartfelt sympathy for your loss, and the request for good health of your remaining loved ones is constantly in our thoughts and prayers.

It is very sad to lose someone we love in death. Even Jesus felt that intense pain and gave way to tears when his dear friend Lazarus fell asleep in death. (John Chap 11) I am so very sorry for your loss and the pain you feel today. I wish to send my sincere condolences to your family at this very sorrowful time. May you draw comfort from the love and memories you share of your dear loved one and also from the strength that only God supplies to help you endure.

And no resident will say: “I am sick…”Isa 33:24. We can be sure of this reality because God has promised as seen from his divine words about the near future; perhaps you or I may see those missing from our lives due to sickness or injury that lead to death. Prayers go out to the surviving family and friends.
