You are in my prayers every day.
November 19, 2014
To the parents and family of Hannah Graham:
I have prayed continually that Hannah
would be found and that you will be
blessed with comfort as you endure
this very personal tragedy.
Years ago I escaped losing my own
life at the hands of a similar
attacker who left me with scars
and devastating fear. I am so
thankful to have lived beyond
this painful event in my life
which took months of physical
and emotional recuperation be-
fore I could return to my job.
Please know that I am aware of
your deep hurt and loss and I
am sincere in saying that you
will always be in my thoughts.
May you rise with greater strength
and compassion through the blessings
of endurance that Our Heavenly Father
will pour out upon you with His grace
and love.
You will be reunited with Hannah in your future life together. Please feel the love we all have for your family at this time.

Words cannot convey the sadness I feel at your loss of Hannah. I, as thousands of others followed the news waiting and praying for Hannah's return. My heart hurt so as I watched you pleading for information regarding Hannah and for her return. You were brokenhearted, yet trying to be so strong for her. I prayed for you & searched the tv videos over and over searching for something, anything that may give a hint as to where she was or could have taken her. One night in particular, I woke at 3 a.m. with a very strong urge to pray for Hannah and for your family. I prayed for her protection & freedom from fear that she would know that she was NOT alone and that she would feel peace "even in the midst of the storm." I prayed for peace, strength & courage for your family. I knew that I needed to press in, in prayer that night. The night makes difficult times, even harder. I only hope that through my prayers, I helped you to stand, when everything in you as parents told you couldn't stand anymore through this terrible ordeal. I pray that I helped ease your burden, if only for a few minutes during that time.
As you go on from her, there will be times when you will just want to cry, scream or just be angry at your loss of Hannah. It's ok. Cry, scream or be angry. You have every right. There will be times when you just need to hold each other and cry. This is you time to Grieve. Grieve, as long as you need to grieve. Don't let anyone rush you through the grief. Your heart is broken and it will never ever be the same again. But someday, you will wake up, slowly lift your head and smile again. Albeit, you can't imagine that now, but it will come. Hannah will FOREVER be in your heart and you will feel the warmth of her presence in the smile of a child, a breeze on your face, a cloud in the sky, or a flower on the ground and you will know that she is sending her love. She will never truly leave you. You will carry her with you always. But know that she is safe and alright now.
Rest assured, Justice will be served. The evil that took her life, will account for his deed sooner or later. Justice will be served. "Vengeance is mine says the Lord." Justice will be served.
Peace, blessings and continued prayers to you and for you. You are not alone.
Always,
Mira in Texas

I have three children attending my Alma Mater - UVA. I have prayed for Hannah and your family every day since that horrible day. The nation could truly feel how special she was through her smile and the outpouring of support. I will never forget Hannah and the senseless innocence that was lost. I am so very sorry for your grief and will continue to pray for you.

I really feel the nation fell in love with Hannah Graham. So much warmth radiated in her young face. Girls her age related to her. Maybe in a sense she will save many. Someone this special would never lose their life in vain. God will see that her sweetness will live on. God Bless her wonderful parents and help them to heal

To the Graham Family, Somehow your little girl whom I have never met entered my heart and I will remember her all the days of my life. I am a mother of an 18 year old daughter, also named Hannah. She is my youngest of four. My second child, a son, Chad, passed away in a car accident five years ago at the age of 18. And he, as your Hannah, is beyond precious. I know the loss of a child and while the circumstances of losing our precious children are different, I understand all too well the pain when our child leaves this Earth before we do. Hannah is beautiful because of the depth of your love for her and she returns that love each and every day. Love doesn't die. I have learned that much. I am so sorry ... so very, very sorry. And I wish I could say or do more. God bless.

Hannah Graham was an angel whose light shined so brightly during her brief time here on earth. Her life and light were so bright that even after her departure her light continues to shine ever so brightly. At the present time our tears and grief unable us to see and or understand that Hannah's departure was not in vain. Even after her departure she was able to radiate her bright light to so many others whom never even met her. Her smile, her life, is now and forever will be known to many many people. Hannah E Graham you are a true angel. RIP...

To all of Hannah's friends and family -- and most importantly to her lovely parents and brother -- my deepest heartfelt condolences on the loss of your talented and beautiful daughter. Everything I have read about her and can see in her lovely smile radiates what a joyful and vibrant young woman she was. She has touched many, many lives in profound ways -- this is most evident. There are no words that I or anyone else will ever be able to say that can bring to you the peace and comfort that you so richly deserve as you struggle to come to terms with your and her loss. Nevertheless, I do hope that somehow in some way you feel the caring and love that I and everyone else who writes to you here and elsewhere extend to you. I hope in time you will find some peace in your hearts. 241 always.
