Mr Kassig I just wanted to say how very sorry I am that this happened. You were my biology teacher when I went to George Washington between 1976-1980.you helped me grow a love for the subject and were one of the nicest teachers I ever had. I want you to know that I have been following this event and was pulling and praying for him and you everyday along with some of the other classmates that I befriended on facebook. we all agreed what a wonderful man you are and what a wonderful son you and Paula raised. Paula my heart goes out to you. I have 5 boys of mine own and I can't imagine the pain you are going through my thoughts have been with you daily since this all started. I never met Peter but from the stories I read and all the news reports he was a kind individual with a big heart. Just know that I will still be praying for you two. I was just amazed when you spoke of forgiveness which is the right thing to do but right now I couldn't imagine being able to do that. I am hoping that we will be able to defeat this disease of terror that took the life of your son and we can all live in freedom and safety. please take care of each other and know that you have prayers being offered up for you.

Peter Kassig was no doubt a hero to many. His example reminds me of the three Hebrew boys who showed exemplary bravery in the face of a king's wrath. The account is found in Daniel 3:15-25.

I met Peter in basic training and airborne school. He was an incredible soldier. I knew he had bigger plans, and would do great things. If everyone in our country could have the mindset and drive he did, we would still be the greatest country on earth.

Beloved Parents of Peter the Saint of all Faiths in the Almighty,
I am the mother of a wounded American Marine who lives at Camp Lejeune in the North Carolina community. Your wonderful lives will serve as an example of faith and goodness as you have been blessed to make the supreme sacrifice in parental guidance and teaching. Your son is in a state of holiness for eternity. Love and blessings are sent to comfort you as you live your lives on Mother Earth. You are united with your wonderful son and the blood he gave for us all is like the blood of Jesus spilled as a holy sacrifice. You are wonderful parents and are a great part of history in the turmoil of the 21st century.
Almighty God will sustain you and the goodness of an international family supports you for this profound journey.
