My Uncle Ray Payne age 87 also a World War II vet remembers the Tuskegee Airmen...they were quite a group of men he says...Ray said,"they shot down more enemy aircraft than any other group of fliers during World War II...escorting the American bombers to and from Berlin and they never lost a plane" according to him...our condolences...we smiled and said Hello to them having dinner in Port Angeles Washington a few years back...While they were there for a Tuskegee Reunion...God Bless and thank you for your service to our Country...a group of very brave men!

Joseph Shambrey was a tremendously inspiring person who is no doubt a loss to us all in fact we have been enriched and in an equal degree protected by the many national and even earthly defense measures that Mr. Shambrey has participated. May the family have peace we cherish the special memories. “He will render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore.” May we all rejoice in this good news of this everlasting peace. (Isaiah 2: 4) Please accept my deepest sympathies.

We are indebted to Mr. Shambrey and others for the degree of peace and opportunities we enjoy today. Though they taught us self-control, pride in self, and much, much more, they taught us that we are highly valued and very precious in God's eyes. As we say goodbye to a life well lived, it is our petition that loved ones of Joseph Shambrey allow the peace of God that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts as they patiently await His guaranteed promise of endless life in Paradise.
