John 11:33 says: "When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping and groaning, he groaned within himself and became troubled." Jesus expressed tears when his friend Lazarus died, he knows how it feels to lose a dead loved one and he understands what you and your family are experiencing. May this bring you and your family comfort in this time of need. cjp (fla.)

Alex is in the boxscore to first MLB game I ever attended; 9/25/64 at Connie Mack Stadium. Remember him more for tying Yaz for the 1970 AL Batting Crown, however. Was one of the game's best RH hitters in his prime. RIP, Alex.

My condolences go out to all of Alex's friends & family. In 1963, we were both on the Magic Valley Cowboys, a minor league team of the Philladelphia Phillies out in Twin Falls Idaho. He played left field & was a great power hitter. We were both signed by the same scout, Tony Lucadello. Thanks to Alex, Mike Marshall & the other teamates, it was a very great year for me that I will never forget. R.I.P. my old teammate.

I feel sad over your loss, but one thing's for sure, the Almighty always does the right thing. Joshua of old said, "Not one word out of all the good promises Jehovah your God has spoken to you has failed..." So we can believe there's going to be a resurrection.
Sincerely,
B. McCurdy
