Catherine Coulson Obituary
Amy Richard with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where Coulson appeared in plays over the course of 22 seasons, said Coulson died Monday at her home in Ashland, Oregon. Coulson was 71 and had been battling cancer.
Richard said Coulson met "Twin Peaks" director David Lynch in the early 1970s at an acting workshop at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, and he cast her as a nurse in his movie "Eraserhead." She also served as assistant director, still photographer and special effects technician on the film.
In 1990 Lynch cast her as Margaret in "Twin Peaks," a mysterious woman who carries around a log.

I'm really sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how difficult this situation is for the family, for losing a wife, a mother, a friend. Our hearts goes with them and may our Heavenly Father, the God of all comfort and love, strengthen them to endure their grief. Her legacy and career will be cherished by many, and her memory rest in God's hands...

She was my favorite actress in the 18 years I've been attending the Shakespeare festival; her acting,facial expressions, and way she encompassed a role. While sitting in my car,in the parking garage, someone sideswiped my car, and here was Catherine getting out of her car.I told her she was my favorite and not to worry. My heart will break every time I return to OSF knowing she won't be there. Prayers to her husband and daughter.

I was sorry to read about the loss of your loved one Catherine. I would like to comfort all who knew her with a comforting scripture in Isiah 26:19, notice what Isiah was inspired to write. Cancer is such an UGLY disease!!!
I am so sorry for your loss. You are not alone in your grieving. Our Heavenly Father is also very saddened by Catherine's death.
As our creator, he doesn't like death.
