I remember like it was yesterday, when he was instrumental in securing the safety of the six American diplomats in Tehran. I had just joined the Canadian Consulate in Buffalo, N.Y. a few years earlier and the Americans showered us with thank you's, accolades and so much gratitude, it was heartwarming. It was a great moment in Canadian - US history and an enduring model of international cooperation between governments.
My sincere condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

Ken, thank you for your service, dedication and leadership over the years. Your example as a husband and father is a welcome breath of fresh air.
Curiously enough, I had an intuition of your passing at the exact moment it happened, and was shocked to find it was true in the next day's paper. We shared some sort of connection.
I will be praying for you and your family.

Ken was the best boss I ever had; the group he built at TCS still meet and talk of his charisma obvious well before Iran. His good looks, gentle manner and steely clear focus made him a unique force among us. Condolescences to his family, Dr. Gita Gaack

KEN TAYLOR FAMILY
YOUR FAMILY HAS LOST A GREAT MAN, AS WE ALL HAVE.HE WAS COURAGEOUS, HONORABLE, AND RENDERED HELP TO HIS FELLOW MAN WITHOUT REGARD TO HIS OWN SAFETY. OUTSIDE OF COMBAT THERE ARE FEW WHO WOULD RISK THEIR LIVES FOR ANOTHER. I THOUGHT SO WHEN HE GAVE AMERICANS SAFE PASSAGE FROM IRAN AND I THINK SO NOW.
MAY WE REMEMBER HIS ACTIONS AND EMULATE THEM.
RIP KEN...AND...THANK YOU
