Joe Fleishaker Obituary
Fleishaker died Monday at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, his brother, Haskel, told The Hollywood Reporter. The actor was morbidly obese, he said, and likely died of a heart attack.
Fleishaker was one of the most popular actors with Troma movie fans. He appeared in three “Toxic Avenger” movies for the legendary low-budget film company. His first appearance was in the movie “Troma’s War” in 1988. Other Troma films featuring Fleishaker included “Tromeo and Juliet” and “Terror Firmer.”

He also appeared numerous times in skits on “The Late Show With David Letterman.”
Company co-founder Lloyd Kaufman wrote on Facebook, "The Troma Team and I are saddened by the news that Joe Fleishaker has passed away." "He was a great actor and a great friend. Toxie weeps. RIP Joe, Troma will never be the same without you."
Fleishaker, who never married and had no children, is also survived by another brother, Simon.

So sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to family and friends. No words can take away the pain that comes with the passing of our loved ones. However, God has promised the time when families will again be reunited here on earth, but in a beautiful paradise. This promise is soon to be fulfilled. When you watch a movie and feel a connection with it, it becomes a part of you. It becomes a piece of you. Mr. Fleishaker, and the movies he acted in, are an everlasting part of me and many others.
