I was saddened to hear about the events that led to the parting of Akrya with her friends and family. The account of her cousin on CNN and her mother's interview showed she was an outstanding young lady with a bright future ahead of her. Yet she demonstrated her purpose that morning by confronting the shooter and saving lives.
I hope the belief of her family and friends will let them know that her beautiful spirit will always be with them. My prayer is that she will be an intercessor for us as we continue in this troubled world.
