Istanbul Ataturk Airport Bombing Victims Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 28, 2016.
At least 43 people have been killed and 239 others injured in a bombing at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, according to multiple news sources.

The U.S. State Department said it was working to determine if any Americans were among the victims.

The State Department tweeted this message: If in #Turkey, contact family/friends & check in on social media to let them know you are safe.

The attack was apparently carried out by three suicide bombers.

The explosions occurred in the arrivals area of the airport. It is a busy airport with travelers coming and going from all parts of the world.

A person who works for a contractor inside the airport told NBC News that he saw three suicide bombers.

Turkish media reported hearing gunfire, and video from the airport showed ambulances rushing towards the terminal and people yelling.

"Passengers were running everywhere, scurrying. I was hiding," a witness told national broadcaster TRT.

In times like these when bad things happen we need to keep thinking about the good things in our life.
We are not alone and we can learn to trust in God to get the courage we need to face difficult times. (Psalm 46:1-3)

So sad to continue to hear of senseless killings in this world. Many wonder will it ever stop. The bible gives a clear answer which is yes it will. While Jesus was here on earth he spoke of a Kingdom that would take full affect on earth Matthew 6:10 . This Kingdom is what will solve all of mankinds problems such as terrorism may we continue to pray for it to come.

We are living in times when there is a lack of "natural affection" and a disregard for human life. (2 Tim 3:3) We send our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and hope that you draw close to the Creator who will, "comfort all the mourning ones." (Isaiah 61:2)
