Chattanooga School Bus Crash Victims Obituary
The bus was carrying 35 children ranging in age from kindergarten to fifth grade.
The bus apparently crashed into a tree, which split apart. At least 23 people were taken to a hospital with injuries.
Chattanooga Police Chief Fred Fletcher said the bus was carrying students from Woodmore Elementary School on Tally Road when it crashed.
"A bus crash involving schoolchildren is every public safety professional's worst nightmare but it's also the thing that we all train for," Fletcher said, according to WTVC television in Chattanooga.
WTVC also reported that lines of donors stretched out the door of the Chattanooga Blood Assurance, the local blood bank, which extended its hours Monday night because of the bus crash.

Please take comfort in drawing close to God in prayer, knowing that he cares about you and is there to help you cope (Psalm 34:17,18, Philippians 4:6,7). Someday soon there will be no more death and we will live on an earth where God will fulfill our every desire (Psalms 37:29). Until that time, I pray that those close to the deceased find strength and comfort in each other.
