Mexico Fireworks Market Explosion Victims Obituary

At least 33 people were killed and scores more injured Tuesday, Dec. 20, in an explosion at a fireworks market in Tultepec, Mexico, according to multiple news sources.

The news about the deaths came in a tweet from Mexico’s federal police.

Pyrotechnics are a major industry in Tultepec, which is about 25 miles north of Mexico City. Emergency responders are at the scene and assessing the damage, Luis Felipe Puente, coordinator of Mexico's national civil protection agency, told CNN affiliate FOROtv.

The Red Cross in Mexico posted photos of the scene. Red Cross paramedics were assisting the wounded.

To the victims family:
There are no words to express what you are going through at this difficult time. I could say is the only one thing I do hear from people is we need to enjoy, live every minute of each day of ours with the people we love because not thing can prepare us for anything, which we don't know when our time is up in this worlds. It was so sad hear to about the explosion in the fireworks market building that killed about 33 people. we all know that they in a good place now, the angels are taking good care of them! My thoughts, prayers are with the victims family at this difficult time during Christmas... RIP May everyone be at peace."
