Russian Subway Bombing Victims Obituary
The blast occurred on the train as it moved between a technology institute stop and the Sennaya Ploshad station in central St. Petersburg.
St. Petersburg is the hometown of Russia's president, Vladimir Putin.
A second explosion also was reported at the technology center, but The Associated Press reported later that only one explosive device went off on a train as it moved between the two stations.
Another explosive was found at another station, but authorities defused it.
