PURPLE CLOUD

I miss you in a purple cloud
Of having parted sighed aloud,
The parting lending memory's shade
A violet haze.

The color flows in a soft lasso,
Tho far apart
Linking us too.

I miss you with a painful note
Of that old lump in the throat,
The lump in the throat small swallow,
The shimmer of tears that follow.

The purple-sepia sky reflects
True hearts regret
At the future's lost footsteps.
Silhouette footprints fading to the past,
Yet endlessly reaching love that lasts.
Invisible waves in purple-sepia shades,
Memory's beach spread in the skies,
The sea-change where love never dies.

Memory's love-forever violet skies.

The lost of a loved one is never easy, tragic lost can be devastating but we go on...because we have to, because our loved one would want us to...we go on. There will be many hills and valleys in the days, months, and years to come and eventually the sun will shine again and joyful memories will fill your heart and smiles will come and peace will come.
May the God of all comfort, family and friends give you strength to go on. My deepest sympathy for your loss.
