Kabul Ambulance Bomb Attack Victims Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 27, 2018.
At least 95 people have died and more than 150 were injured in a bombing attack in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul, on Jan. 27, 2018, according to multiple news sources.

A bomb-laden ambulance was driven through a police checkpoint and detonated in a shopping district near government offices and foreign embassies. The majority of victims were civilians.

The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack, which comes a week after an attack on a luxury hotel in Kabul that killed 22.

"Indiscriminate attacks against civilians are a serious violation of human rights and humanitarian laws, and can never be justified," UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said in a statement.

We invite you to share condolences for the victims of the Kabul ambulance bomb attack in our Guest Book.
