God bless her for her efforts and I am sure that God has received her in Heaven for her noble efforts. The internment of Japanese-Americans (Nisei) like slavery of African-Americans will always be a negative blot in American History.

Despite the racism many of her people fought bravely in the European theater against the Nazis and was highly decorated for their efforts. One of my favorite heroes was Senator Daniel Inoue et al who sacrifice for this country.
