I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Secretary General of United Nations, Kofi Annan.
One of the world's most exemplary diplomats and visionary leader, a great soul of compassion: humbleness and greatness.
Men may come men may go
But few leave their foot prints on the go
Over generations to learn and follow
Mr. Kofi Annan you have done that,
Thank you so much for precious memories and share with me and with the world.
Specially, I am very grateful to your visit to Sri Lanka for help and comfort Sri Lankans at the time of Tsunami disaster.

His display of optimism and dedication to humanitarian efforts was rare.
