Lyndon LaRouche Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 14, 2019.
Lyndon LaRouche Jr., a contentious political activist and perennial candidate for U.S. president, died February 12. He was 96.

One of the most unusual characters in American politics, LaRouche operated outside the mainstream of political thought. He embraced ideas from both the extreme left and extreme right of the political spectrum. With the support of his small but intensely loyal group of followers, he ran for president eight times between 1976 and 2004 – once from prison.

We invite you to share condolences for Lyndon LaRouche in our Guest Book.

Thank you for moving the world in the appropriate direction. You have truly
enlightened the minds of those willing
to accept your challenges. You did so with humor and Christian love. And you were right! I am sure you are enjoying our Creator's reward now. I would say rest in peace, but that is just not fitting for you!

I really miss Lyndon. It's unbelievable that only 3 years ago I was directly asking him questions about politics and economics. I cherish those memories for the rest of my life.

I still remember a poem written and recited about Lyndon by the late Guyanian Justice Minister then Foreign Affairs Minister and cricketeer Fred Wills. This is from an evening in the 1980s, from the second floor of Ben Franklin Booksellers in Leesburg.

"With everyone that he could find,
He shared the fruitful theses of his mind.
And afterward, when he had gone,
Reflectful gratitude did linger on."

And I must say thank you as well.

America owes you a debt of gratitude for your political influence and unified citizens for the creation of tremendous amount of wealth created for fifty years of service. Apparently, you were the only one who received intelligence that Russian KGB Syrian terrorists from Nazi international were marrying American citizens under false pretenses in 1983, with a response to include NASA for the protection of the US through the SDI program. My condolences to Helga Larouche, family, and friends. Thank you for believing in me.

My condolences go out to all the family, friends, and supporters of Mr LaRouche. This is my first news of him, I am so sorry I didn't become familiar in his living years. Anyone who lives to be 96 must have done something right!

Be was a person who wanted to do so much for people, and never thought about himself. A great person that will be very painfully missed. My regret is I never got a chance to meet him in person. God in heaven have a place for people like Lyndon LaRouche Jr. Who wanted to do nothing but good for society and for all people's and nations of this world.
