Greenvale Hotel Crush Victims Obituary
Many were waiting for the doors to open for a St. Patrick's Day party on the cold rainy night. When some started to push towards the closed doors, two people were killed at the scene. A third person died at the hospital on Monday morning. The victims were 16 and 17 years of age.
ACC Mark Hamilton told the Tyrone Times, "First and foremost my thoughts this morning are very much with the families of the three young people who passed away and those who were injured. It is heartbreaking that an event which should have been fun for these youngsters on St Patrick’s night should end in such a terrible tragedy." Full coverage from the Tyrone Times
