I remember Dominick Arena as the strong and approachable, funny and warm man that was the Chief of Police in Lincoln when I was a teenager. During "changing times," he remained a steadying influence.
May our gracious God hold him gently in His hands in His eternal place of love and light.

I am very saddened to hear about the loos Dominick Arena. We have a hope that one day we will not need police officers as wrong doing will be a thing if the past - as it says in Isaiah 2:4 They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore. Imagine a world with no more violence and no more weapons. This is our hope. Dana

To the Members of the Arena Family:

I take this opportunity to extend my deep and sincere condolences, and was saddened to learn of your recent loss.

For thirty-seven years, I served the Town of Wayland as a Public Safety Dispatcher, and remember speaking with Chief Arena via the telephone, or when He personally visited our Police Station. He was always very pleasant and professional, but also had a keen sense of humor as well.

Again my sincere condolences, and I hope that your family will find the strength to carry you through this difficult time.

Sincerely,

Thomas Turner
