As a kid, I was such a roller derby fan. My mom and dad took me to Many of the sessions One time when I was about seven, in the late 40´s, my mom and dad bought me a Gerry Murray stuffed doll. after the match, We got her to sign the doll. I don´t know what happened to the doll throughout the years but I remember Gerry Murray!

I was blessed to have known Gerry.She was RollerDerby.I attended all the games @the 14th st Armory.I wrote to Gerry every month until the last year.I still have several of her scarfs.Mike sorry for your loss.

so sorry to hear about Gerry. my uncle mike miller sold pictures at the games of course i worked for him. we remember Gerry what a nice person. I think my sister baby sat for child when they played in n.j. they were the good old days Tuffy and ken and all other players what a sport

As a kid in New York City I always rooted against Gerry I was from Brooklyn and loved Toughie
However over the years I got to be good friends with Gerry

As a kid growing up in New York in the late 40's and 50' and rooting for the N.Y. Chiefs and watching Gerry , Toughie , Marylou ,was a thrill. GREAT SKATERS ALL ! Will always remember Gerry with that Red hair, scarf , and tugging up her Gloves to take on all comers. I skated Jr. Roller Derby for awhile and appreciate what they did. To the Family my deepest condolences , and May GOD Keep Gerry in his Light.
