I had helped Bill in 2003 at the Chevron Gas Station on Chaparrel and 101 that i was working at, which my friends i grew up with had part ownership,It was then that Bill had to come into the gas station to tell me that the pump was stuck in his car.I immediately recognized him, but did not say anything except to make sure i helped him with this situation.After the assistance of myself and my close Friend and manager Brett, we were able to assist him and get the pump out of the car, it took at least a few minutes,because it was very stuck ,eventually we got it out.I was very intrigued to let him know about my journey as being Cardinal fan, at that point i noticed he had his lunch tupperware with his name on it,and he was ready to get on his way, so i knew my time was up to speak to him.I believe Bill is a winner and Michael just brought it forward,Go Cardinals forever

Very sad to hear. Truly a legend and great man. I feel very fortunate to meet him during the design and construction of the Cardinals stadium.

Your Dad, my Cousin Billy, told delightful stories about my parents, Lambie and Joe, when they were young adults. He and Nancy were gracious weekend hosts to me and my classmates when I lived in St. Louis. Billy allowed me to interrupt his day when I'd occasionally pop into his stadium office. His most heartfelt kindness to our family was when he flew from Arizona to Chicago for my Pops' wake and funeral. Peace, Cousin. And thank you.
