I met Brad as Aradune on the docks of Qeynos. I will never forget the moment I saw the blazing sword in his characters hands and marveled at what was to come for video gaming. Brad's creations will be forever marked in my mind, and that moment/memory, is as clear to me today as I had just experienced it. He changed all of our lives for the better and set our imaginations ablaze. Even if you never met, played or spoke with Brad his vision inspired the last 25 years of MMORPG gaming and has likely touched your life in some way. He will be missed but his legacy will continue in all of us.

Without Brad, there would be no WOW, no other online game like it, he's the forefather of all these mmos that came out. Everquest was a escape for me and my brother, to get lost in a world which we enjoyed for years. Thank you so much for what you've done.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brad at Pax East, really nice down to earth guy, He took the time to talk videogames with me and even signed my original EQ install disc.
Brad would respond to Facebook post about his game Pantheon and interact with the fans, on occasion would even chat via Facebook messenger.
The reason that's important is Brad I feel was really in the industry to "make worlds" he seemed to care about his audience and his videogames. This shows because despite how busy he was, he took the time to interact with us. That's a rarity in this market & he changed PC gaming forever because of who he was and that was a visionary.
EQ was a large part of my teenage years and I've always loved the origin story of Brad and Everquest.
The world feels a little emptier now with Brad's passing.
May he rest in peace and thought and prayers to his Family and those close to him my condolences for your loss.
