I have just discovered Ms Kauffman´s books and the sad detail of her passing too. I have enjoyed the several books I´ve already read and am hooked on these works. What a wonderful and delightful story teller she was. I plan to read as many as I can find. Condolences to her family and her friends. I know her only through her books but she has become my friend through her way with words and the folks she writes about becoming real throughout her stories. So thankful I´m privileged to be reading her lovely tales and the continuation in 2nd and more books in the same communities. And if I can miss someone I´ve only known through her books then I´m so sorry for you who knew and loved her in your grief. God bless.

I trained for and completed a 1/2 marathon on March 2, 2025 all while listening to her "Bachelor of Blueberry Cove" series and "Brides of Blueberry Cove" series. The characters she created were so great and since I'm from South Texas, it was nice to be "pulled" up in to the New England area. I will be forever grateful to Donna for creating these characters and stories that ran along with me this past winter. I was heart-broken to read Donna had passed away almost 5 years ago. My deepest condolences.

I was never much of a reader to be honest. 2020 has changed that. I began reading her books and fell in love with her characters and settings. I especially loved the series set on the Maine coast. Being a New Englander we spent so many lovely vacations at the shore. I was just looking up the author of these books that I've fallen in love with and learned of her untimely passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. She brought love and light to an otherwise depressingly dismal year. I will always be grateful to her for that and will continue to read and reread those wonderful stories.

Donna,
I still remember when I moved to NoVA and all the nights we went to dinner at iHop & Ruby Tuesday, then you would pick up the boys. Those memories are so precious to me, because it was through our long talks you helped me have the strength and determination to reach for so many dreams.
So much laughter...
So many stories...
So many hugs...
After I moved back, we kept saying we would do dinner again soon. Until soon...
Love,
Tracey

My prayers for strength for Donna's family as I just learned tonight that you and the world lost her in early April. I only recently "found" Donna through her inspirational MiniBooksRMe creations. We exchanged emails and I was so impressed by how personable and kind she was to me, a complete stranger. Her tutorials are the best I've had the privilege of owning--I treasure them. I pray that Donna's positive determination despite her health challenges is a source of inspiration for you. She was and continues to be a beautiful light.

I lost a Friend on ANZAC day.
She did not know me.
I had typed in her name to find a new tutorial.
So shocked to see a news feed of her passing.
I knew her by her voice and hands. We spent many happy
hours in my craft room. A welcome time especially in this
Covid -19 restrictions.
Donna Kauffman was an accurate, concise, creative and easy tutor
to understand and follow.
My sincere condolences to Donnas family and friends.

I'm sort of in shock and so sad. I knew her cancer was serious, but she was so upbeat and had so many plans for her mini books this summer. She was such a wonderful person.
A brilliant author. As I read her work, there were times I laughed right out loud. Or cried along with a character. Not a lot of authors can bring that emotional response to their readers.
She was also so creatively crafty. I've made several if her mini albums and chit chatted back and forth and laughed with her many times. I felt as though I knew her and we're great friends though we never met.
My heart goes out to her family. I know she was a proud mama. May you find peace in your heart in this sad time. Know she is smiling over you with lots of love. Rest in peace Donna
God Bless❣
