Bobby was a great entertainer. I took my wife to hear him sing Tossin' and Turnin' 10 years ago. We were both taken aback at how energetic he was. He put his heart and soul into giving a great performance, which he did. He deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Bobby Lewis was an amazing performer and a good, I had the pleasure of performing with him at Lead East he did an amazing show the audiance loved him. It was an honor to now him. Rest in eternal peace Bobby.

We just learned that Bobby Lewis has passed away and we send our condolences to the family.
Tossin and Turnin was huge, and I fondly remember singing it when it was first released, and I still sing it. It has a catchy, upbeat tune and beat, and is easy to remember. In the 1960s, it was a huge hit song, and Im sure that songs legacy will endure. Someone said Tossin and Turnin is any insomniac's personal anthem and even today in 2020, I sometimes hear someone bellow I couldnt sleep at all last night; I kicked the blanket on the floor. Thank you, Mr. Lewis, for the memories and the music.

I so remember hearing this song played as a child by my mother. It was so enjoyable . God will comfort and sustain you as you mourn because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:6,7) You have my sincere condolences.

A gentle man who i had the pleasure of knowing personally. Years ago we would go to lunch in New Jersey and he told more great stories than ever. Once i promoted a show which didn't do so good and he wanted me not to pay him. I paid him what we agreed upon before but this was the type of man he was rest well my friend.

I got to meet Bobby at the Helping Hands Telethon in Hazleton Pa. We were both performing for the event and shared a drink at the bar. Bobby was a kind & gentle man. He and I discussed singing styles and I will always remember him fondly. RIP Bobby, David Grayson

I am no one. But I was honored to sing back up with Bobby Lewis Tossing and Turning fame at a Middletown High Class reunion about 5 years ago. It was amazing with the Royals Blues with the Chuck Evans brass band. Bobby was first class. He made my day. I will miss him forever and a day.

It's hard to believe we've lost another legend of Rock n' Roll. Tossin' n' Turnin is one of those songs that just makes you want to move and sing.
