"I remember when 'Suavecito' first came out in the 70s—what a beautiful song. My mom and I both loved it, and now that she’s gone, like Arcelio Garcia, the song holds even more meaning. It’s amazing how music connects us across time, and my family still sings 'Suavecito' today. Rest in peace, Arcelio. Your voice and music will live on in our hearts forever."

I would just say that his songs brought so much love and joy to so many people including myself ❤ we sometimes forget what wonderful memories these songs have brought to are hearts and then we hear them playing when we least expect it and it just brings wonderful awesome feelings to our spirits that we can never forget.
May he rest in peace and my God welcome him into His kingdom for the love and joy he shared with all His children on earth ❤.

He was a great man and friendly client of ours at Lennon Studios where Malo rehearsed for the reunions and Kings of Latin Rock Show at Mission High School in San Francisco. He was always cheerful and pleasant to talk with about the old days of rock music in the Bay Area. I was such a fan of Malo and Latin rock music growing up in the Bay Area and it awesome to have met the Greatness of Arcelio. We closed the studio down and moved out of SF in 2020 and I´m only just this morning learning about Arcelios passing as I was posting a Kings of Latin Rock poster and VIP pass from the Mission High Performance April 27, 2002. Im saddened by the news and on behalf of myself, Carole Lennon, Lenore, Smokey, Alfie and everyone at Lennon Rehearsal Studios I send our Sincere Condolences to all Arcelios family and loved ones and love to the entire Latin Rock Community The Sound of The Bay Area and Arcelio was the Voice of The San Francisco Sound. God Bless & Peace forever my friend.

After Malo Acelio created the group Zorro around 1975, I played drums in the group and my brother was on alto sax, along with the other musicians that were in the group as well and all of the one's left, I am sure will be missing you brother as well.

I am still saddened by the lost of this wonderful singer. He was also a very down to earth person. With the one year anniversary of Arcelio Garcia passing I wanted to let the family and friends know he is not forgotten. I will treasure all the conversations I had with him.

Heart felt condolences to his wife ,children, close friends, and fans. I was member of his band Malo in NY. He was an amazing band leader, person, music mind, and loved what he did. The song "Suavacito" is now and forever will be on my mind and in my heart. The very first vacation my wife and I took to Florida, this was the hit song of the time and was constantly played on the radio stations. As soon as we returned home I hurried to the record shop and purchased the LP, which I still have to this day. Arcelio, may you forever rest in the arms of of Lord.
