Having come across your work only last year and being impressed by your progressive perspective, diligent work and fortitude in the face of cultural ignorance, it is now devastating to hear of your recent death.
Your legacy is to make teh world a better place for women and for all life. Thank you.

Though we never met, our family connection is documented by family pictures. My favorite is a Christmas family photo with you and your mom and uncle Raymond. You always looked so solemn. You were ahead of your time when the country was so critical of your subject and not ready for your work, but you have left a legacy. May you Rest in peace.

Hello to all who read this. Hope you are well.
I'm sorry for those close to her, who surely will miss her a lot.
I feel sad that Shere Hite had to go through a difficult time due to her illness for the last months of her life. She is one of the persons I admire most and hope she will be always remembered as a good scientist, a good communicator, and a very audacious thinker and writer.

My deepest condolences to Paul Sullivan & Shere Hite's relatives on her death. She was a wonderful woman, a lovely person & a good friend of mine in the 90's. I did not realise that she was recently living quite close to me in Tottenham
