While I didn’t know him during his prime and only met him for a very brief time later in his life, I could tell this gentleman was a character and a joy to all those that knew him. I also had the pleasure to meet his family and they were very welcoming and so nice, it was truly a pleasure on my end. His family adored him and the love was very evident in that home. My condolences to this sweet family on their loss.

I have enjoyed the music of W.S. For so many years. I was lucky to get
a chance to visit with him, way back in1990, in Ames Iowa. He was very gracious and easy to talk to. We were lucky to have him in the music we loved.
