My favorite stage actress. There was always something so moving and magical about her. she glowed. Her beautiful spirit deeply touched audiences and fellow actors. Aren’t we blessed that her voice lives on in so many recordings? The inspiration continues.

One of my most cherished theatrical memories was seeing Rebecca Luker’s magnificent performance as Lily in The Secret Garden on Broadway. My wife sobbed as she clung to the rail in the balcony during How Could I Ever Know. I shed a few tears as well. What a stunning production highlighted by the angelic voice of Rebecca. What a tragic loss for her family and for all those who admired her. Rest In Peace.

I was floored to know Rebecca Luker had recently passed. She was a stellar and a very good looking actress with a theater voice for acting and singing. We use to frequent Manhattan before the Virus hit our nation from Tampa Florida. When Rebecca was in a show on Broadway we were there. She was always fabulous. She had the most beautiful voice, that when leaving the theatre your memory would imprint her sound. The theatre and her family has lost the best of the best, but how lucky my husband and I were able to see and hear her on Broadway so many, many times. She was a gift.

My dear friend worked with Rebecca on Death Takes A Holiday in 2011. The stories she shared of working on the show with Ms. Luker were always of how gracious, generous, kind and ladylike she was. She had the voice of an angel and now she truly sings with them. She lives on in the many wonderful performances she gave and the hours of joy her soaring and glittering soprano brought to millions around the world. May God comfort the many she leaves behind with the knowledge that, as a woman of faith, she is now in Father's arms, healed, strong and renewed for all of eternity. May God bring Danny and her family peace and rest until they are reunited in heaven.

I first heard Ms. Luker in a road company of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, and was amazed at the bell-like tones in her voice, perfect diction and acting abilities. I am heartbroken at her loss, so young and so talented, from ALS. Life can be so cruel, as we all know. My heart aches for Rebecca's husband, Danny Burstein, and their family. Rebecca will live in my heart.
