Sincere condolences to the Kapany family, friends, and colleagues . May Almighty God in the Heavens comfort all who is the hearer of prayers be with you in your time of need with his loving kindness and peace as He strengthens you during this difficult time as you cope with this precious loss in your lives. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories. Thank you for Mr. Narinder Kapany's contribution in pioneering as the “father of fiber optics,” who was one of the inventors of fiber optics technology.

My condolences to the family. Mr. Kapany had a very long life. I am grateful for his work and I and my family have benefited from his work. I've been in fiber optic telecommunications since 1986 and continue to be amazed at the technology's capabilities and it is still increasing. The equipment at either end of the fiber seems to improve every 3 years and the different applications for fiber in telecom continues in amazing ways to connect us. None of it would have been possible without his work, perseverance and the efforts of Mr. Kapany and Mr. Hopkins. His contributions and championing of STEM based learning has been a major accomplishment too.
Thank you for your family's support of him, I will be praying for you.
