Bob Moses caused a bright light to shine in the minds of black children in the state of Mississippi. I will always be thankful for the opportunity given me to work under and with him to educate the students in this state.
Thank you and may you rest from your untiring dedication to others. You truly will be missed.

Condolences to the family. He was a pioneer in the civil rights movement. I used his Algebra Project
in my classes. I think I met him years ago. Rest among the stars as an honored ancestor.

Dr. Moses was a FATHER to me and all inner city kids that attended Brinkley Middle School and Lanier High School in Jackson, MS.
I was a member of the ALGEBRA PROJECT, Young Peoples Project and the My MS Eyes Project.
He taught us that we had options in life and that we could solve all problems in life with a formula.
Much Love, Peace and Power to the Moses and Project Families!
Your memory will forever live on DOC

As a teacher when I taught about the Civil Rights Movement I showed the PBS film, Eyes on the Prize. This was my introduction to Bob Moses. I admired Bob greatly and he was one of the most impressive people of that era for me. Bob was a gentle man with an easy going style. I enjoyed pointing him out to my students in the film and telling them about the work he continued to do. I read his book on the Algebra Project and appreciated his continuing work and dedication to develop new ways to educate children. Certainly one of my heroes.

I spent a a little over a week with Mr. Moses in September 2019 in Boston. It wasn’t an ideal time because we were both at Mass General. He was a down to earth individual and I enjoyed his singing and he has a wonderful family - Eddie Cotone

Bob Moses certainly was fearless and helped change things for the better.
I was one of the 700 Freedom Summer volunteers, so he also changed my life as well.
