"Harriet" (Gloria) was the shining light in the Brooks series, as she was the sole cheerful, friendly young woman on the show. She always brightened up the scenario with her fresh, youthful appearance.
Her character always had a positive outlook on everything. I, and so many others, looked forward to seeing her each week on the show in the early 50s. May God grant Miss McMillan loving peace, and happiness in the minds of her admirers of the perpetually youthful "Harriet Conklin"......Love, Jim (NJ).

I loved "Our Miss Brooks" I am so sorry to hear of Miss MC Milan's passing. The family has my sympathy. Trust in God and he will give you the needed comfort.

I am so sorry about the passing of Gloria. I grew up on Our Miss Brooks. The McMillan family has my deepest condolences. I pray that you will be surrounded continuously with love and support and as you go through this difficult time, may Almighty God give you “everlasting comfort” (2 Thess. 2:16).

I vividly recall Gloria McMillan's wonderful portrayal of Harriet Conklin on TV's, "Our Miss Brooks"; the chemistry with co-stars Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, and Richard Crenna was priceless...so funny and memorable after all these years! My condolences to Ms. McMillan's family, friends, and fellow fans at this sad and difficult time.
