Dear Robin:
We have no contact information for you, but we were able to find this guest book. We just learned of Bill's death. Having been without communication following Hurricane Ian's arrival the same day as Bill's passing, we were without news for days. We are so saddened by your loss, as is much of the world. We only met him once or twice, but he was always such a gentleman and always smiling. We hope you have many, many happy memories to sustain you. Take good care of yourself.

As a fellow lector at Holy Trinity Church in Georgetown, Bill was certainly a model and mentor to me. Whenever he would read, I would be incredibly inspired. Often, he proclaimed the Good News of the scriptures as if it were breaking news. Without a doubt he enlivened and energized the Word of the Lord.
A few months ago, I shared with Bill that “whenever I lector, there’s a bit of you in me.” I sincerely believe that will continue to be the case for a long time.
