I’m sorry for your loss. May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

I remember meeting Gloria when I was in college with her sisters the twins. Gloria was very kind to me and always supportive of us continuing higher education. She was a fighter and trailblazer for all of us Latinos. Thank you Gloria for all your work and dedication to your passion and profession. May you rest in peace. ❤

My condolences to the family! Gloria was a special lady. I worked with her in the reapportionment office in Pasadena in 1981 under assemblyman Richard Alatorre. When she became the 1st Latina assemblywoman we were all so proud of her! RIP Gloria!

During Gloria's 1982 insurgent Assembly campaign for an East L.A. seat she attracted the support of the then fledgling L.A.'s Women's Groups to work for her election. Women streamed in from all over L. A. County to help. After a march from her headquarters with signs and banners proclaiming MOLINA as "the people's choice" we fanned out and canvassed door-to-door to identify her voters. Her instinct "to do the right thing" led her to victory in that election and for many Election Days to come. Proud to have carried the MOLINA banner (along with Mary Rapaport) for the National Women's Political Caucus.

Our heartfelt condolences to Gloria Molina’s family and friends. Gloria was a resilient woman warrior and instrumental in advancing equality for women. Gloria was an invaluable resource for the National Women’s Political Caucus’ Coalition for Women’s Appointment Initiative in 2020. Her many accomplishments will endure as she has left an indelible mark in history.

As the OIC of the Hollenbeck Homicide Detail, I worked closely with Supervisor Molina and her staff dealing with the gang related homicides. She displayed a very caring attitude for her community and provided the support to combat gang shootings and deter others from the gang culture. She was honest and very direct a real leader.
