I’m sorry for your loss. May your memories give you peace and comfort of your loved one. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for the loss of your loved one. May GOD be with you all during this difficult time. 1 Thessalonians 4:14For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again, so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.

Bob Hayes, Tommie Smith. John Carlos and Jim Hines, made me believe that anyone can do anything if they believed in themselves and their talents. When I heard of his passing it touched memories of their races and of mine. I never made it to the same stage as them but i felt the same when i crossed that finished line. I will remember the athlete, the legend, but most importantly the man. Thank you for making me believe in myself, Mr. Hines. A 70 year old brother of the track. Armando Adriano
