My condolences to the family of Sheldon. He was an extremely talented man. He gave all he had to the industry and his family. He will truly be missed by all. Sheldon Harnick was a consummate artist and humanitarian. His successes as a Broadway and world famous lyricist never detracted from his interest and concern for emerging artists. His musical tastes were broad and he
shared his appreciation of the works of Gilbert and Sullivan in concerts he designed to showcase them. He will be long remembered for his musical genius and his generosity and community engagement.
