A native of Baton Rouge and active 62 year member of 1st United Methodist Church, was loved dearly by family and many friends. Sharon, at 72 years old, leaves her loving and devoted husband, Philip Roger Musy, her brother, John Sanford (Sandy) Smith, and his wife, Corliss Smith. She will be remembered lovingly by her niece, Kelly Metz, her husband Billy, their children, Quentin, Avery and Tristen; her nephew, Ryan Smith, his wife Jill Smith and their children, Landry, Hadley and Claire, and all her loving cousins. Also holding her in loving memory are Philip's brother, Mark Musy, and sister Joyce Carson, her husband, Robert, their children Josh and Brad, and his 3 children, Declan, Sophia, and Liam. Sharon graduated from University High School in 1969 where she especially enjoyed the football activities and met her life-long friend Margo Eglin. Hi Philip. I am so sorry for your loss of Sharon. I´ve known Sharon and Sandy since we were little. My Dad, Jack Hastings, and her dad, Mr Quentin were fishing buddies forever. And of course Ms. Toni who was adorable. I´ve met you many times at First Methodist. Sharon was precious and so are you. Bless you. I could always see how much you adored each other. Such a blessing! The first time I met Sharon she was working for Committee of 100 and was so beautiful and kind. I was so glad she was my Mom´s next door neighbor too. So sorry for your loss. She was truly a southern lady.

My sympathy to Philip and Sandy and best friend Margo. I know you will miss Sharon deeply. I knew Sharon from church and high school on. She was always so beautiful and loving with a twinkle in her eye. So warm and poised. In our senior year at the Lab School Sharon was elected prom queen. She was that well-liked. Well, she was friendly and kind to everyone. I will miss her. Randy Harelson
