Edna Thompson "Mae" Hull

Edna "Mae" Thompson Hull passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Baton Rouge, La., on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 97 years old. Edna was the Matriarch and cornerstone of the family. Edna leaves to cherish her memories; five daughters, four sons, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Mother and Father; Julia Thompson and William Thompson / Husband; Oliver Hull Jr. / two daughters; Doris Hull Early and Joyce Hull Washington / one son; Gilbert Hull / two sisters; Rose Ann Thompson Wilson and Lillian Thompson Howard / four brothers; Simon Thompson, Henry Thompson, Lee Thompson and Frank Thompson. Celebration of Life Homegoing will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Winnfield Funeral Home, located at 7221 Plank Rd., Baton Rouge, La., 70811. Viewing and visitation with the family will be available from 9:00AM - 11:00AM. The service will begin at 11:00AM.
