Daniel O'Neal Obituary

Daniel O'Neal

Daniel Miles O'Neal passed unexpectedly from this life on February 27, 2022.

Daniel was born on June 14, 1951 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Delbert F. and Letta (Franks) O'Neal, one of four sons. Growing up, Daniel loved the outdoors, especially fishing. He loved playing baseball, and was always the pitcher.

Daniel proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Quite by chance, Daniel met the great love of his life, Breniss Burgher. He made her his wife, and they have been married for 31 years.

Professionally, Daniel was a Petroleum Landman, highly respected in the oil and gas field. He specialized in lease acquisitions and land management, and was a regulatory administrator. In his free time, he enjoyed bicycling and participating in the rescue of animals in need. Daniel always had a passion for music, and loved to travel, exploring the United States and vacationing overseas with his equally adventurous wife. Daniel was easy-going and a laid back, and had a friendly manner and mischievous smile. He was quick to laugh, and he had many lifelong friends.

Daniel was preceded by his parents, and his brothers Delbert and Michael. He is survived by his brother Timothy O'Neal of Oklahoma City, his loving wife Breniss Burgher O'Neal, and his two daughters, beagle rescues Willow Grace and Clover Dale.

Daniel also leaves behind a host of friends and neighbors who will miss him greatly.
