"Noel R. Gjertsen
BANGOR - Noel R. Gjertsen, 46 of Bangor, WI died peacefully of natural causes at home on March 5, 2022. Noel was born April 5, 1975, to Robin and Patricia Gjertsen.
Noel was a 1993 graduate of Bangor High School. Noel worked as a bartender for several years, where his welcoming personality and kindness for people were combined with his love of sports. He was known as the "nicest guy" who cared deeply. Noel had a carefree soul and enjoyed life as it went along. He loved his family dearly and was always willing to help family or friends, who needed it.
Noel was preceded in death by his father, Robin; his grandparents: Robert and Lois Gjertsen and Leonard and Dorothy Gerke.
Noel is survived by his mother; sister, Jessica (Samina Grimes); and brother, John. His niece, Syndey Grimes and her son, Micah. Along with many uncles; aunts; cousins; and friends.
Services will be held at Jandt-Fredrickson Funeral home in Bangor, WI, Hwy. 162 and Hattan St., Bangor. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m., until the time of service, at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Rev. Brock Groth will officiate. A private burial will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Bangor March 14, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
