I could not thank this man enough for his mentorship while I was at the academy. He helped keep me grounded and brought out the leader he knew was within myself. He counseled me and gave me his wisdom in the short four months we spent together. But his words and training have lasted a long successful carreer and will be passed on to agents I mentor and supervise. Just recently learning of his passing I wanted to make known the impact Mr. Moss had on me. I'll keep tracking and make sure I got it covered 360.

Mentor, Teacher, Friendthe label was less important than the fact that in Yandle you saw a life well-lived and a man well-loved
See you there, sir..

Up or down, thin or flush, Yandle always kept his perspective and that 'all too well known sense of humor' about life, family, and the job. A mentor and a true friend. We'll miss you.

Sandra, Audie, and the entire Moss family...thank you for sharing Yandle with his DEA family for so many years! You were truly his pride and joy! It was an honor to become a close work partner and friend with Yandle...he always managed to light up the room with his warm smile, contagious laugh, and caring demeanor. To Sandra, Audie (Yandle), Phynisha and Family; I pray that God will give you strength to endure during this difficult period. Yandle and I spent many hours together in the Alaskan tundra, as Arctic Warriors in the 6th Infantry Division; however it should be said that he was a true warrior everyday of his life. May God rest his soul and give you peace.

I first met Yandle in March 1991 while attending DEA Training Academy. Doing our conversation, we discovered we were fraternity brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi. Even though, our career path took us in different directions, Yandle always greeted you with a heart felt smile & hug, “ Yo Nupe!” He will be truly missed, in my faith, we will see him again. My prayers & deepest condolences to Yandle’s family & friends.

When I arrived at TR you were among the first to shepard me through an assignment unlike all other DEA assignments. From my earliest days in TRDA you were both a mentor and a friend and I have always been grateful for your patience and wisdom during our few years together. While on occasion you struggled to pronounce BAT names you excelled at being a role model for the trainees you led, each of whom owes a fair part of their successes in the field to your insistence upon agent safety and integrity.
You will be missed, my friend.

To the family of my beloved friend and Brother Yandle Moss...I extend my deepest sympathy...Yandle was like a brother to me during our days with the Federal Government we train together, laughed together and though we were seperated by assignments on two different coast, when we did come together it was like old times. I will miss him dearly, but my faith and the faith he showed tells me He is smiling, no more pain, no more hospitals just peace...rest my friend until we meet again.
