Yandle Moss Obituary
Yandle Moss, 66, of Fredericksburg, VA, departed this life on March 11, 2022.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Moss; his son, Yandle J. Moss (Phynisha); and grandson, Lennox Moss.
A visitation will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 5 PM to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 2 PM.

I could not thank this man enough for his mentorship while I was at the academy. He helped keep me grounded and brought out the leader he knew was within myself. He counseled me and gave me his wisdom in the short four months we spent together. But his words and training have lasted a long successful carreer and will be passed on to agents I mentor and supervise. Just recently learning of his passing I wanted to make known the impact Mr. Moss had on me. I'll keep tracking and make sure I got it covered 360.

I had the opportunity to work with Yandle at his first post of duty in Seattle/Tacoma WA. He was a steadfast worker, great husband and father as well as a good S/A. My wife Tina and I spent a lot of quality time with Yandle and Sandra. Our hearts go out to his family. May he rest in the arms of the Lord.

I first met Yandle in March 1991 while attending DEA Training Academy. Doing our conversation, we discovered we were fraternity brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi. When I arrived at TR you were among the first to shepard me through an assignment unlike all other DEA assignments. From my earliest days in TRDA you were both a mentor and a friend and I have always been grateful for your patience and wisdom during our few years together. While on occasion you struggled to pronounce BAT names you excelled at being a role model for the trainees you led, each of whom owes a fair part of their successes in the field to your insistence upon agent safety and integrity.
