Judith Cherblanc Obituary
Judie is a native Tulsan born on August 17, 1936 to H.O. "Hank"Johanson and Ruth Beck Johanson. She passed away on May 11th, 2022 at the age of 85.
Judie attended Tulsa Public Schools – Barnard, Wilson, & Tulsa Central '54. She attended Colorado University and graduated from Tulsa University with a BA in Sociology. She married Johnnie Cherblanc August 22, 1958, and they have enjoyed son Jeff Alan Cherblanc and daughter Joyce Ellen Cherblanc.
Judie was a TU football and basketball fan and she taught kindergarten & bible school. She served on the Archives Committee, Administrative Board, United Methodist Women and PM Circle at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.
She was also active in Jaycee-Ettes, Camp Fire Girls, Cerebral Palsy Association, Red Glove Revue, Tri-Delta, GOP, Valley View OHCE and enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking, entertaining, knitting, bridge and especially the Roundtable Sunday School Class. Friends were always very important to Judie.
Judie is survived by Johnnie her husband of 63 years and daughter Joyce and son Jeff.
There will be a viewing at Moore's Southlawn from noon-8:00 on Monday May 16th, 2022. Her memorial service will take place at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church on Tuesday May 17th, 2022, at 11:00 A.M.
